By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of another person (such as a loved one), you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Description of Services

GD Essence provides non-medical home care services including but not limited to:

• Companion care and social interaction
• Personal care assistance
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Transportation services
• Light housekeeping
• Recovery support

Service Agreements

Initial Assessment

All services begin with a complimentary, no-obligation assessment to determine care needs and develop a personalized care plan.

Service Plans

We offer flexible service plans including QuickCare (2-hour visits), GoldenCare (4+ hour visits), and RideWithCare (transportation services). Specific terms and pricing will be outlined in your individual service agreement.

Service plans and pricing are subject to change with prior notice.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Service schedules are flexible and can be adjusted based on your needs. We require 24-hour notice for cancellations to avoid charges. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due according to the terms specified in your service agreement
• We accept various payment methods including check and electronic payments
• Late payment fees may apply as outlined in your service agreement
• All fees are transparent with no hidden charges

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about care needs
• Maintain a safe environment for caregivers
• Treat caregivers with respect and dignity
• Communicate any changes in care needs promptly
• Provide emergency contact information
• Follow payment terms as agreed

Caregiver Standards

All GD Essence caregivers are:

• Thoroughly screened and background-checked
• Properly trained and qualified
• Fully insured and bonded
• Committed to providing compassionate, professional care
• Matched to clients based on needs and compatibility

Limitation of Liability

GD Essence provides non-medical home care services. We do not provide medical care, nursing services, or medical advice. Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for:

• Medical emergencies or health complications
• Property damage not caused by our negligence
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Services provided by third parties

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy. All caregivers and staff are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice as specified in the service agreement. GD Essence reserves the right to terminate services immediately if:

• Payment terms are not met
• Unsafe conditions exist for caregivers
• Abusive or inappropriate behavior occurs
• Services are no longer appropriate for the client's needs

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and fairly. If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions or, if necessary, mediation with a neutral third party.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Massachusetts.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
